Small Group Serving the Community
On Saturday, September 27, Kindness In Action (KIA) is leading an effort to show Christ’s love to our community in Mansfield, specifically by serving the elderly population around town. KIA will be taking teams of people to the homes of elderly folks that are in need of assistance with things like household maintenance, cleaning, upkeep and yard work. KIA leaders have received names of the people ahead of time and the chores for which they need assistance.
This is a great opportunity for Small Groups at Crossroads to serve together as a group. Pictured above is one of Crossroads Small Groups that makes serving in this capacity a priority in their group.
So please consider asking your small group if they would serve the needy elderly in our community on Saturday, September 27 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. You will be glad you did.
